Today I want to share with you a recipe that has been a favorite in my household recently - Pepper's Spicy Shrimp and Pasta. This dish combines the perfect amount of spice with the delicious flavors of shrimp and pasta, making it a comforting and satisfying meal option. Plus, it's incredibly easy to make!
Pepper's Spicy Shrimp and Pasta
This recipe calls for the following ingredients:
- 1 pound of shrimp, peeled and deveined
- 2 tablespoons of olive oil
- 1 clove of garlic, minced
- 1/2 teaspoon of red pepper flakes
- 1/2 cup of cherry tomatoes, halved
- 1/4 cup of chopped fresh parsley
- Salt and pepper, to taste
- 8 ounces of cooked pasta
To start, heat the olive oil in a large skillet over medium heat. Once the oil is hot, add the minced garlic and red pepper flakes. Cook for about 1 minute until the garlic becomes fragrant.
Next, add the shrimp to the skillet and cook until they turn pink and opaque, which should take about 3-4 minutes per side. Be careful not to overcook the shrimp, as they can become rubbery.
